15TPD Batch Tyre Pyrolysis Plant Shipped to Guinea Client for Smelter Fuel Self-Supply
A 15TPD batch tyre pyrolysis plant built by DOING Company was dispatched from the workshop and shipped to a client in Guinea in June 2026. The unit is sized to convert waste tyres into heavy oil on the client’s site, where the heavy oil is consumed directly by the client’s own smelter.

The client runs a smelter in Guinea. Furnace oil and other heavy fuels have always been a sizable line item in the operation — both in terms of fuel cost and the logistics of getting it to a relatively remote site. When the client looked at the pile of waste tyres accumulating in the region and the pyrolysis route that turns those tyres into a heavy oil fraction, the math started to look workable: a steady supply of waste tyres on one side, a steady demand for heavy oil inside the smelter on the other.
That is the practical case for the 15TPD batch tyre pyrolysis plant in this project. It is not a recycling initiative for its own sake. It is a way to close part of the fuel loop on the client’s own operation — pulling a low-cost feedstock (scrap tyres) through the reactor and feeding the output back into the smelter as a replacement for purchased furnace oil.

Applications of waste tyre pyrolysis oil
How the energy loop works in practice
Output from the client’s pyrolysis line feeds straight into the smelter’s fuel handling system. The numbers are roughly aligned to the client’s real demand rather than to a theoretical maximum:
15 tons of waste tyres per day, fed through the hydraulic auto-feeder.
The reactor runs in batch mode, which matches the way the smelter typically draws fuel — pull from storage, run a cycle, replenish.
The pyrolysis oil fraction is collected through the tube condenser and the auxiliary condenser, and routed to the on-site fuel tank.
Non-condensable gas is recycled back to the pyrolysis reactor burners, which keeps auxiliary fuel demand low.
The carbon black discharged from the reactor is moved out by the inclined screw and sold as a by-product.
Exhaust passes through the water-film deduster and the tail-gas deodorization unit before release.

Tyre pyrolysis to fuel production process
What this means for the client’s fuel bill
Heavy oil has been the dominant cost line for the smelter. Producing it on site from waste tyres replaces a portion of that purchased volume, and the unit cost of pyrolysis oil from scrap tyres is consistently below the retail price of furnace oil in the region. The savings depend on the price spread and on how much of the smelter’s fuel demand is covered by the plant’s output, but the direction is clear — purchased heavy oil goes down, internal fuel production goes up.
There is a secondary gain as well. Scrap tyres that were previously a waste-handling cost now become a feedstock, which means the client is getting paid indirectly to keep the site clear. The deal works because the smelter provides a guaranteed off-taker for the oil, and the tyres provide a low-cost input. The 15TPD batch tyre pyrolysis plant is the piece that connects the two sides.
