DOING Shipped 9th DY-12 Batch Tire Pyrolysis Machine to Indian Customer for Mozambique Site
In July 2026, DOING Company completed the shipment of one DY-12 batch tire pyrolysis machine and one carbon black briquette machine to an Indian customer. The equipments will be installed at the customer' s new tire pyrolysis project in Mozambique. This is the ninth set of DOING batch pyrolysis equipment ordered by the same customer since the two companies began working together in early 2021.

Background: a mining company that moved into pyrolysis
The Indian customer' s main business is precious metal mining. In 2020, the company added a tire pyrolysis project as a new line, and all the pyrolysis oil produced goes into its own operations. The company first chose DOING in early 2021. The DY-12 batch tire pyrolysis machine shipped in July 2026 is the ninth, and the customer has confirmed more orders are planned for the Mozambique project.
Coming from the mining industry, the customer knows industrial equipment well. Mine sites punish machines with dust, heat and long running hours, so this customer judges a furnace by how it survives heavy use, not by how it looks on paper. That standard has carried into its pyrolysis business.
Six years of hard operation, and the design behind it
The customer' s earlier DOING pyrolysis machines have now run through about six years of production. In that time, the pyrolysis furnaces have handled long operating cycles without losing output stability. For a customer whose oil goes straight into its own use, a shutdown means a direct loss, so reliability is not a preference — it is a requirement.
DOING pyrolysis machine is built for this kind of duty. The reactor is a horizontal rotary chamber made of 16mm thick boiler-grade steel plate. The wall thickness gives the shell a long service life against repeated heating and cooling cycles. The welds are the critical part: DOING uses full-penetration welding on the pyrolysis reactor body, and each unit is pressure-tested before delivery. This is where many cheaper furnaces fail — thin shells and weak seams crack after a few hundred cycles. The customer has seen none of that on its DOING units.

DOING pyrolysis machine manufacturing details
The rotary design does two jobs at once. It tumbles the shredded tires so heat reaches every part of the material evenly, which keeps oil yield steady from batch to batch, and it stops molten rubber and char from building up on the inner wall. After long runs, the pyrolysis reactor interior stays clean, so the furnace does not lose capacity over time.
The pyrolysis plant equipped with negative device, which keeps gas from leaking out during feeding and discharging. The condensing system cools the oil vapor and collects liquid oil, while non-condensable gas is piped back to the burners as fuel. That closed loop trims fuel cost and means less waste gas to handle — an advantage at a remote site like Mozambique, where spare parts and maintenance support are not around the corner.

The carbon black briquette machine: adding value to a byproduct
Along with the DY-12 batch tire pyrolysis machine, the customer ordered one carbon black briquette machine. After pyrolysis, the solid residue left in the reactor is carbon black powder. In loose form it is dusty, bulky, and hard to store or load for transport, and it sells at a low price.
The briquette machine presses this powder into dense blocks under high pressure. The briquettes take up far less space, produce almost no dust, and are easy to bag, stack and ship. More importantly, compacted carbon black holds a better position in the market than loose powder, so the customer gets more value from the same byproduct. For the Mozambique operation, this turns a handling problem into a clean, storable product.

Carbon black briquette machine
The DY-12 batch tire pyrolysis machine and the carbon black briquette machine left the DOING factory in July 2026 and are now on their way to Mozambique. DOING will be ready to support the customer as the Mozambique project moves forward.
